Food Ideas from Brasserie Restaurants

Following the success of the up market cuisine options on level 5, Westfield Sydney plans to expand its dining facilities from beyond a food court to what has been described as a ‘food atrium’. A rooftop bar, restaurant and cafe will open on level 7 later in 2011. Star City in Pyrmont will follow later in the year, opening a fine dining precinct as part of its $960 million redevelopment where Stefano Manfredi will open his new premises in September, followed by Adriano Zumbo, Michelin-starred American-Korean chef David Chang, Chase Kojima, formerly of Nobu, and Flying Fish's Peter Kuruvita in October. The redevelopment will bring about a new era in Sydney dining and will feature a unique rooftop garden providing fresh produce.

Cup design is refreshing, quite a tall espresso cup with a large handle. Grip is good though the walls are too thin. Aroma is fragrant and the taste compliments the cup design. Not too hot and fairly good crema. First impression hints at a weaker strength coffee roast though with tones of berry and acid. Texture not as smooth as crema hints but provides a pleasant nutty aftertaste. Three out of five.
